Boobs Butts and Babes

I have something to say about boobs, butts, and babes.  Now in the past I may have referenced breast implants in a negative light.  I don’t have a negative view of breast plants or other forms of plastic surgery.  I have a negative view of some people’s reasons for getting them.

Boobs – OK, lets say you are a happy, healthy, and successful person who does not like her boobs.  To you I say change them.  Now lets say you are not a happy, healthy, and successful person, but you think that buying a pair of boobs will fix all of that.  To you I say, “You should seek the guidance of a professional mental health expert and get a life.”

Butts – Lets say your butt is huge!  You are currently attempting to lead a healthy, happy, and active life.  You have sought the help of trained medical and mental health professionals.  You are following their advice and you are committed to a positive lifestyle change.  I say congratulations and go ahead and get that gastric bypass surgery.  Be sure that you have weighed all the pros and cons, your doctor says that you are a good candidate, AND you fully intend to lead a happy, healthy, and active lifestyle after the surgery.  Now, lets say that you’ve spent the entirety of your life sitting on your couch eating fried chicken and ice cream.  Let’s also say that you have no intention of giving up our food addiction.  IMHO, gastric bypass will not fix you or make you happy.

Babes – Let’s say that you are a healthy, happy, and active mature woman.  The only problem is that the image of you in the mirror doesn’t reflect the vivacious babe on the inside.  Ask yourself, “Do I want “work” done so that I will be happy or am I happy and I want “work” done to reflect who I truly am?  If you are not a happy person, plastic surgery won’t fix that.

Happiness is actually a chemical reaction in the brain!  Plastic surgery will  not alter your brain chemistry.  Sorry.  Making positive life choices will usually do the trick.  Now let’s say that you have attempted to make positive life choices such as eating balanced nutritional meals, attempting to exercise and you spend some time in a positive social environment.  Even though you have done these things, you still find yourself unhappy.  First you should see your medical Dr. to make sure that you are healthy.  Then you should follow-up with a mental health professional.  Many mental health disorders, such as clinical depression, are caused by a chemical imbalance.  It doesn’t mean that you are “crazy”, it simply means that you are ill and need medication.

**disclaimer – Don’t be a dumbass!  If you have any concerns about your health and / or well-being, seek the counsel of a trained AND licensed professional.  Don’t depend on the ramblings of some crazy little blogger nobody such as myself.
